Labneh is a Middle Eastern spreadable cheese which I drool over every time I go to Bahrain - there is something magical about this spreadable cheese with za'atar (a thyme and sesame based spice), olive oil, and warm fresh out of the oven pitta bread. In England it is possible to buy Labneh but when I found out how easy it is to make it I jumped at the opportunity - all you need in yogurt, salt and a cheese cloth, and the results are out of this world perfect!
I followed the below recipe and will do so again time and time again!
